Damon I'Anson

Having entered motorcycle journalism in 1995, I worked on a variety of specialist titles to editor level, until going freelance in 2002. I currently live in the Indian Himalaya, where my wife and I run a motorcycle touring company: www.blazingtrailstours.com.

I still write for UK motorcycle magazines, with a monthly column in Motorcycle Sport & Leisure.

As a qualified (B-Tec) motorcycle engineer, ex-advanced riding instructor, sometime racer and having been professionally involved with bikes for 27 years, I have tended to specialise in three areas of writing: technical features, articles on advanced riding and adventure travel stories.
